MVHS is seeking a fellowship trained Orthopedic Total Joint Surgeon to join our growing team. Our orthopedic department, consisting of 3 surgeons and 5 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), is looking to expand, offering the incoming surgeon an opportunity to rapidly build their practice. We have a well-established outpatient total joint program, with the MAKO robot available for use. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling all aspects of total hip and knee joint surgeries, including primary and revision procedures, trauma cases, infections, and more. As part of the role, the surgeon will be expected to perform complex joint replacement surgeries and should be comfortable with general call responsibilities. However, we have an orthopedic trauma service to handle call cases when needed, ensuring a balanced workload for the surgeon. This position offers a dynamic environment for a skilled surgeon to make a significant impact while working alongside a dedicated team in providing exceptional orthopedic care.

• Must be board certified or board eligible
• Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction / Total Joint Arthroplasty required
• Proficiency in all aspects of total hip and knee joint surgeries
• Experience in performing complex joint replacement procedures
• Ability to handle primary and revision surgeries, trauma cases, infections, etc.
• Willingness to share general call responsibilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
