Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Surgeon                                              Campbell Clinic

Campbell Clinic, a private orthopaedic practice in Memphis, Tennessee is actively recruiting a fellowship trained orthopaedic sports medicine surgeon.  The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing, treating, and preventing injuries related to sports and physical activity, particularly those involving the musculoskeletal system. This role requires a deep understanding of orthopedic surgical techniques, sports injury rehabilitation, and patient-centered care. As a Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeon, you will work closely with athletes, coaches, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal recovery and performance outcomes. You will be responsible for performing surgical and non-surgical procedures, developing treatment plans, and guiding patients through rehabilitation. Your expertise will be critical in helping patients return to their sport or activity safely and efficiently. In this role, you will also be expected to stay current with the latest advancements in sports medicine and orthopedic surgery, participate in continuing education, and contribute to research and clinical innovation.

Campbell Clinic currently has 70 plus providers, 8 of which represent our cohesive sports practice.  This is a rare opportunity to be the Director of a Sports Medicine program for a leading orthopaedics practice.  Resident teaching & education, research and a university appointment are available as well.  An academic appointment will be given through the University of Tennessee-Campbell Clinic Department of Orthopaedics consistent with the level of academic accomplishment.

Job Requirements

• Early to Mid-Career Board eligible/board certified fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon. 
• A minimum of 3-10 years of experience is required.
• Ability to obtain Tennessee and Mississippi state licensures.
• Basic and/or clinical research experience required; all physicians have academic appointments at the University of Tennessee, the rank determined by their academic experience and activities.
• Strong basic and clinical research experience preferred.
• Interest in student/resident/fellow teaching.
