UNC Physicians Network and UNC Health Lenoir are currently seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon Physician to join their existing Orthopedic Surgeon group, located in Kinston, NC. This is a fulltime position and an opportunity to join a stable, existing group. This is a General Orthopedic Surgeon practice, open to an experienced physician or exemplary new grad. Total Joint Fellowship training or heavy experience in total joint replacement required. 1:3 Call. Our Surgeons provide expert orthopedic care using the most advanced procedures in sports medicine, joint replacement, fracture care and foot and ankle surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients and analyze patient data to determine patient needs and treatment goal
• Evaluate and treat multiple orthopedic diagnoses including fractures, damage to tendons/muscles/ligaments, osteoarthritis, etc.
• Perform various orthopedic related surgeries
  
• Epic EMR
• Support local athletic teams and events
• Participate in unassigned hospital call as well as practice call rotation
