Marshall Orthopaedics, a university-affiliated physician group, is currently seeking qualified candidates for a joint replacement position within our department. This position, with a practice location at the Hershel “Woody” Williams VA Medical Center in Huntington, W. Va., will provide for a practice that is primarily focused on the subspecialty of orthopaedic joint replacement.
Marshall Orthopaedics is an academic department affiliated with the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine. We support an orthopaedic residency and train 3 residents per year.

About the Hershel “Woody” Williams VA Medical Center
The Hershel “Woody” Williams VA Medical Center in Huntington, W. Va. provides health care services to veterans living in southwestern West Virginia, southern Ohio, and eastern Kentucky. It is a fully accredited 80-bed acute medical and surgical care facility that provides primary care and specialty health services, including orthopaedic surgery, mental health services, women’s health care, prosthetics, bariatric surgery, pain management, palliative care, and more. The facilities’ primary educational affiliation is with the Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine and the hospital has more than 30 training programs in over 20 health care fields, including orthopaedic surgery, dentistry, optometry, medical laboratory technology, pharmacy, and social work.
Applicants must have a medical degree or foreign equivalent and have successfully completed an orthopaedic surgery residency. Applicants should have a strong interest in clinical care and teaching. Applicants must be able to obtain a full and unrestricted West Virginia medical license.
